On the Road In April
Thursday, April 1st, 2010This is going to be an exciting month! Check out the new dates added! Easter comes and then we head out to Missouri. On the 18th, I’ll be jumping on a tour with Rebecca Williams of Louisville, KY. This “Rubber Band” tour will take us through PA, NY, VT, and back through. It should be a fun time.
On a different note - Have you seen the news lately? There has been so much going on… Yes, the helathcare issue here in the US, but when I look around the rest of the world’s news it makes my blessings more obvious to me. I was challenged as I read one man’s words in an article where he says, “There are far too many people struggling to survive this very day for people like you and me to take Jesus’ command to love our neighbors as ourselves lightly.” With that, I felt an urgency to do more… And so I thought about World Vision… They are making a difference in the lives of children all around the world… The poor, the needy, the hungry, the abused, the used, the rejected, the ones living in the torment of war… Most of us in the US can’t truly comprehend their daily lives. I love being part of World Vision as an Artist Associate AND a sponsor because I know where the money goes and have seen some of the lives that have been changed… and I want to do more. You can as well… “Give me vision for this world beyond me”… I challenge you to pray that too. Join me in making a real difference in people’s lives through World Vision.
