Autumn days…

Sometimes I hesitate to write a blog wondering if I should write something profound or humorous if I’m going to blog. But the more I read blogs I’m beginning to think that’s not quite the case. So…

It’s autumn now… my FAVORITE season of the year. The trees aren’t quite so colorful as years past… unless you count brown. This season is so busy and it seems there is something going on every day it seems. I have stayed busy, trying to balance housework (not doing well with that one), writing, music and all that is involved, etc. I’m seeing that I’m not balancing well though. On the other hand, I procrastinate like a pro sometimes. So, I’m on a mission to become more balanced in how I spend my time. Besides that it has been wonderful and I do look forward to playing a few shows at the end of October and seeing some of you.

If you get a chance, go camping this month. Especially if you’re one who loves being outside like I do because it can refresh you from the busyness and sleepless that is common to many of us. We did that last weekend at a tiny little spot not too far from Lexington and even as I laid in the tent hearing the night-songs of autumn outside it was like a lullaby and my mind soared and drifted off into a great night of sleep. I hope that for you too. Enjoy the songs and sounds of this season before the cold sets in and the seasons change.

Grace & Peace
